For those who choose to earn money by blogging, there are many ways that can be done starting from creating your own domain name, choosing quality blog content, advertising revenue, collaborative event affiliation and others. For myself, I put an Ad on the blog by Google Adsense.

But so far I have never felt the sweetness of "payday" from Google since I received Adsense since July 2018 ago. For this reason, I am very interested in joining  Blogger perempuan network and ProPS the #BPNxPROPS blogger gathering because the theme itself is something I really want to learn because I also want to be like other blogger friends, who can pay monthly from Google.

Continue to the material, Mbak Nunik explained how to create content that is Google Friendly or Content that Google likes? Because we all know that Google Friendly content will be very beneficial for us, starting from the articles that we make will appear on the first page of Google and of course if it is already on the first page our traffic will rise.

Then how, in broad outline Mbak Nunik explained that Content is King. And there are 3 things that need to be considered to make Google Friendly Content, namely:

1.TREND

    There are two trends, namely momentary trends and trends that are forever. Yesterday Ms. Nunik gave an example for a momentary trend we can take from the incident of terrorism in New Zealand, and for a trend that is forever an example is how to get a free voucher from Gojek because until now the article is still in great demand.

2. THE RIGHT TITLE.

    Selection of the right title so that it is indexed by Google. And with the right title, the articles we make will be more interesting to the reader.

3. TECHNICAL SEO

    Mbak Nunik explained that it does not have to go to a very deep SEO technique to create articles, but at least we just use SEO basics.

Then what good content is, good content:

1. Thematic

     Writing with one theme will make people interested in reading

2. Informative

     personal story  are okay but useful so readers can get information from our writing

3. Chronology

     Write in sequence from beginning to end so that it will be read to completion

4. Solution

     Providing solutions to problems faced

Then, the reason why we need to use SEO? Because SEO has an effect on:

1. Traffic

    When the blog has been clicked, in 3 seconds all the scripts have been called. If we use SEO, it will certainly be good in relation to Ads which are based on clicks.

2. Google Index

    The search engine will store all existing web data and if anyone searches for a particular keyword and our content matches it, it will appear on the search results page.

3. Personal Branding

    Personal branding is a characteristic that we carry on our blog and all social media. So that the reader will know these characteristics. For example, if we write a review of a beauty product, we are known as beauty bloggers.

4. DA / PA

    The size of the strength of our domain is DA, while the PA is description if certain pages of our blog are found by search engines.

Then, how do you use SEO?

1. Keyword

    Now searching for keywords can already use google so it can be easier, if you first have to use the application and of course paid. So it's best before writing the article we are looking for the most searched keywords by Google, so the articles we make later are the most targeted so that they can appear on the first page of Google.

Try keywords in the title, first paragraph, middle, end and in the article.

2. Meta Description

     Don't forget to add a meta description in each article that we make and on our blog settings page. With a maximum of 150 characters which certainly contains the keywords we have searched for earlier. And use subheading (heading 3).

3. Backlink

   Our links are placed on quality blogs

4. Content

   The best content that makes readers want to read to the end.

    And finally, the most important of the three things above is the content itself. Mbak Nunik explained when we wrote even though it was on a fixed blog, use a good Indonesian spelling and write it with your heart.

The next material from Mbak Ilona Juwita as the CEO of ProPS, so the friends of ProPS are Google Chanel Partners, obstacles that we often face when trying to register or install Adsense on a blog or website they can handle. As Google's partner, ProPS is like the right hand of Google who can access directly if there is a problem.

As a blogger, it is very interesting if we can generate rupiah coffers from our blog. How do we make our blog make money? one of them by installing Adsense, but as I explained at the beginning when Adsense was installed too, we will not immediately receive payment from Google every month it takes patience and needs to learn also about what adsense is allowed or not.

Like yesterday Ms. Ilona said, we can't click on ads on our own blog or borrow other people's blogs to click on ads on our blog because Google knows, because it comes from the same source, same cookies, same ip (between bloggers and visitors) and later it ends up with our adsense account being suspended. But calm now there is a ProPS that is ready to help us. All you need to do is optimize your blog.

2. Social Influencer

     - Placement of Affiliate Links

4. Selling Digital Products

      -ebook, online course, training, image, photo and video

5. Membership

     -forum, online community

6. Email Marketing.

But it turns out that in monetizing a blog there are also several problems. Among the problems that often occur in monetization are:

1. Website Performance

      Constraints that commonly occur on website performance are small volume of traffic, page latency that occurs because there are too many unnecessary plugins on the blog and Quality vs. Non Quality Traffic for example social media installation.

2. Website Design Layout (UI / UX)

     Low viewability and responsive website layout while mobile layouts are not responsive. Choose a theme that is mobile friendly, because now almost everyone opens information through a smartphone.

3. Platform Optimization

     - Maximize Adsense

     - Maximize AdExchange

According to Ms. Ilona, optimizing the performance of our blog / website so that it is good in Google's eyes, can be with the following things:

1. Make sure the traffic source is only from quality sources

2. Make sure the ad placement is in a place that has high visibility and potential clicks.

3. Make sure each ad slot displays various size options

4. Learn and try the entire revenue potential.

What are the big opportunities going forward after we monetize our content? of course we have a target. Well, one of the targets is to increase international traffic that is able to bring in a global audience. How do you create interesting content for the global audience?

1. Determine the target audience, whether residents with English or other languages

2. Produce evergreen content

3. Content may be locally based, but delivered in a relevant manner to the global audience

4. Make sure not to use a context that concerns a particular culture, because it will usually be difficult to understand in general

5. Be careful in using reference words such as distance, weight, fractions of money, because each country has a different term

6. When presenting an image, make sure to use images that are universally understood

7. SEO, use keywords that are popular in the country and then placed on content

8. Use translator services that are trusted and accredited if they have language limitations.

After the two materials were presented, the event was continued with a cooking demonstration from @EndeusTV, with two menus namely Caesar Salak Salad and Tropical Smoothies and we all had the opportunity to try out their delicious and healthy results.

Quite a few stories about my first experience at the event the Blogger Perempuan Network x with ProPS,  the BPN x ProPS event was very memorable for me, I got a lot of new knowledge. After participating in this event, I now understand why my Adsense account never earns income every month, because there are still many things I have to learn and fix.

Hopefully after this I can apply the knowledge that I have learned at this event, such as diligently searching for keywords before writing articles, using SEO techniques so that the articles I make can be Google Friendly, placing ads in potentially many clicks, and learning as well to create global content.
